Located in Freeport, IL, is the sixth plant in the Forge Resources Group production network. Purchased in July 2019, Star Manufacturing was rebranded to Star Freeport Company (SFC) and brings a host of new capabilities to FRG’s arsenal. For over 125 years, SFC has been a leader in the manufacture of hot-formed, forged, and heat-treated parts using a broad range of specialized metal forming equipment. SFC will continue Forge Resources Group’s tradition of high-quality parts – Forged in the USA, For the World Market.
