Job description

Forge Resources Group, a premier metal processing solutions provider, is searching for a Welder to join our Freeport production facility.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 1-3 years heavy manufacturing experience.
• Stick/wire welding experience
• Ability to read welding prints
• Knowledge of forgings and/or dies preferred

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Lay out, position, and secure components to be welded
• Complete welded assemblies per welding prints
• Hardface components per print

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Continuous standing
• Frequent unassisted lifting up to 50 pounds
• Occasional unassisted lifting over 50 pounds
• Frequent grasping and gripping of welding equipment
• Frequent pushing / pulling / twisting / turning with upper body while holding tools
• Frequent bending / stooping
• Frequent tolerance of high heat environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
