Commercial Analyst / Management Trainee – Dekalb

Job Description

The Commercial Analyst-Management Trainee position offers an opportunity for leadership and long-term growth. This position is offered as an opportunity for the candidate to experience a 2-3 month training program across the company departments, while learning what makes FRG successful. The long-term goal of this position is to direct and manage efforts that create value for customers through pricing, estimating, quoting, planning and project collaboration.

This role offers an opportunity to learn all business aspects and functionality of Forge Resources Group. The purpose of this role is to support business operations such as: Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Purchasing.

This candidate will be responsible for creating value through the following deliverables:

  • Estimating/ Pricing/ Quoting: Acquire key understanding of market positioning and evaluate/execute growth strategies within industries
  • Planning: Assist in scheduling and prioritizing inputs/utilization of Manufacturing Resource Planning and Enterprise Resources Planning
  • Collaboration: Develop internal relationships and support business activity within the organization and the supply chain endeavors

Requirements:

  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field
  • 2-3+ years of experience in comparable field(s) preferred
  • Ambition to learn and collaborate with various departments
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Strong ERP and MRP background
  • Strong Project Management skills

The candidate needs to demonstrate motivation and interest in partnering with various team-members in learning and enhancing business activity.

This position is fully on-site, not remote.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
