Commercial Analyst Intern – Dekalb

Forge Resources Group consists of six manufacturing facilities located throughout the Midwest, specializing in manufacturing complex closed die forgings. We are looking for a Commercial Analyst Intern to join our team.

Commercial Analyst Overview:

The Commercial Analyst Intern will support and drive sales activity. Consistent interaction with sales, production, and engineering departments is critical to assisting with projects and customer requests. The individual fulfilling this position is driven, analytical, possesses strong interpersonal communication skills, able to multitask, thrives in a collaborative sales setting, and has strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage orders and quotes
  • Compile, analyze, and report sales data
  • Monitor and analyze competitive activity, customer, and market trends
  • Provide actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teams
  • Contribute to the development of sales plans and objectives
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance
  • Forecast demand, revenue, and expenses
  • Determine sales potential and make recommendations
  • Assist sales team in projects and data needs
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Applicable degrees include: OMIS, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, General Business Studies, Marketing
  • Excellent Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong research and data analysis skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Projection and forecasting skills
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams

Pay: $18.50/hour

Schedule: Flexible
